A NEW educational project aiming to engage future generations of discerners into customizing their own garments utilizing simplified traditional textiles techniques from ancient cultures.

A basic shape -a teeshirt, a tunic, maybe pants otr a jacket- available in two unisex sizes (S-L) is paired with a set of materials and detailed instructions on how to complete the piece as the wearer wants to (aka "the kit").

The instructions are furnished by masters of craft from many places around the world that have carried knowledge of techniques such as: Fabric dyeing, Embroidery, Stitching, Printing, Painting...

Hands-on aims to connect, first the children with their caregivers, then both of them with the traditions that have contributed to form the history of textile culture, and lastly with others.
For some this may be a window into a new universe of craft, art and hands-on work, for other a seed planetd for future awoken interest in traditional and ancient ways of making.
